Product Description:
perma STAR CONTROL TIME immediately supplies the lubrication point with oil or grease and works precise and temperature independent. The unique feature of perma STAR CONTROL TIME is its connection to machine-control which also turns it ON and OFF. Therefore it is especially useful on equipment where lubrication is to take place only when the machine is in operation, and where a feedback signal to PLC is required.
Function:
The main difference between the battery-operated STAR VARIO and STAR CONTROL is that the perma STAR CONTROL is directly connected to the machine's control unit. Power (direct voltage) and control come from the machine. The lubrication system only works when power is supplied by the machine. perma STAR CONTROL can also be operated in impulse mode as soon as voltage is impressed, perma STAR CONTROL discharges the set discharge amount once. Before it will discharge again, voltage must be interrupted for at least 5 seconds and then impressed again.
Applications:
perma STAR CONTROL is used for lubrication of roller- and sliding bearings, chains, open gears, guides, and seals. Machine downtimes can be reduced drastically when perma STAR CONTROL is used in applications that require lubrication to take place only when the machine is running. Connection to PLC is possible.
